Jump Start the New Semester with These Websites

As we begin a new year, why not get off to a great start as the new semester approaches? If you are returning to class from Winter break or just beginning this Spring semester, now is the perfect time to utilize your resources to ensure a successful semester. First off, it starts with you. Gone are the days that we could just show up to class and expect to get everything in one short class period. The good news is that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There are free websites available at your fingertips complete with videos, MathTV.com, for our visual learners and interactive game sites, Math-Play.com, for our tactile learners and PurpleMath.com for those who learn best in a written format complete with written worked out examples. I use all three for my Developmental Math classes, and only hear positive responses. Start the new year off right, take control of your education, and have a great semester.
